Zhang Yujie reviewed the journey of the two institutions from initial acquaintance and mutual understanding to in-depth cooperation. She noted that 2024 marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. Since Shaanxi University of International Trade & Commerce and University Tun Abdul Razak embarked on cooperation and exchange, the two sides have steadily advanced faculty further education, joint cultivation programs, and platform development. Between 2024 and 2025, the University has successively sent three cohorts totaling approximately 70 master's and doctoral faculty members to Malaysia for further study. The going global of faculty members, she emphasized, is not only about academic qualification enhancement, but also represents a vital process of renewing educational philosophies, broadening academic horizons, and elevating overall competencies, the outcomes of which will ultimately translate into endogenous driving forces for strengthening the University's faculty development and improving talent cultivation quality. Looking to the future, she expressed the hope that the two institutions will further deepen, substantiate, and sustain their cooperation on the existing foundation.
